Registrar Liaison Officers

Registrar Liaison Officer's (RLO) are training registrars who advocate on behalf of James Cook University's (JCU) GP registrars during their training. RLOs serve as a confidential contact for registrars to discuss any aspect of their training and liaise with the appropriate people to assist in resolving issues relating to their training, work conditions, or placements.

RLOs play an important role in keeping JCU informed of local and national registrar issues and represent JCU and their registrar peers on a number of local and national committees, including General Practice Registrars Australia.

RLOs are represented on the JCU Strategic Leadership Council and actively contribute to the JCU education program.
