Registrar Liaison Officer's (RLO)
RLOs play an important role in keeping JCU informed of local and national registrar issues and represent JCU and their registrar peers on a number of local and national committees, including General Practice Registrars Australia.
RLOs are represented on the JCU Strategic Leadership Council and actively contribute to the JCU education program.
Dr Alexander Baggott
RACGP and ACRRM Registrar
Dr Baggott is currently working as a Senior Medical Officer at St George Hospital and as a GP Registrar at St George Medical Centre. Dr Baggott has strong interests in rural obstetrics and public health.
Dr Stephanie Bandara
Dr Bandara is currently working in Rockhampton.
Dr Alison Hanks
Dr Hanks is currently working in a mix of both clinical practice and academic medicine with JCU which involves both research and medical student education. Dr Hanks' interests include medical education, junior doctor wellbeing, chronic disease management and palliative care.
Dr Lachlan McIntosh
Dr McIntosh is currently working as a GP Registrar at a clinic in Cairns and as an Academic Registrar with JCU where he is involved in undergraduate teaching and research.
Dr Fiona McLellan
Dr McLellan is currently undertaking General Practice training terms on the Sunshine Coast.
Dr David Mildenhall
Dr Mildenhall is currently undertaking general practice training terms in Bundaberg.
Dr Peter Neeskens
Dr Neeskens is currently working as a Senior Medical Officer at Prosperpine Hospital with interests in anaesthesia, pain management and technology in medicine.
