How to apply

Selection into the Australian General Practice Training (AGPT) program is a highly competitive merit-based process and involves a three or four-year full-time commitment depending on your choice of fellowship.

AGPT 2021 applications open on Monday 23 March 2020 and close on Monday 11 May 2020. Stay up to date and register your interest with ACCRM and RACGP.

The application process is managed by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACCRM). Applicants must decide which fellowship they intend to pursue and apply directly to the relevant college.

Applicants should note that RACGP and ACRRM have different application processes. For details, please visit the individual college websites.
